Case Study

The Challenge
Outdated Presence Undermining Credibility
DCCO's existing website failed to convey the depth of their experience or the scale of their operations. The outdated design and generic stock imagery undermined investor confidence, while poor information architecture made it difficult for potential partners to understand their investment criteria and past performance.
Balancing Accessibility with Exclusivity
The firm needed to communicate complex financial information clearly without overwhelming visitors, present their portfolio in a way that demonstrated expertise across asset classes, and create a professional impression that matched their institutional relationships. The site needed to generate qualified deal flow while maintaining enough exclusivity to appeal to sophisticated investors.

Our Solution
Research-Driven Design for Institutional Investors
We began with comprehensive stakeholder interviews to understand DCCO's positioning within the institutional investment landscape. Through analysis of their competitors and target audience, we identified that institutional investors value transparency, track record, and clear communication above all else. The design direction emphasized clean, confident layouts with substantial white space that let their deals and performance speak for themselves.
Custom Portfolio System Built for Control
We developed a custom portfolio presentation system that allows DCCO to showcase investments with detailed metrics while maintaining appropriate confidentiality. Built on Webflow, the site gives their team complete control over portfolio updates without developer dependency. We implemented advanced filtering capabilities so investors can quickly find relevant deals by asset class, geography, or investment stage.
