About the Role
We're looking for a part-time Software Developer (approximately 10–20 hours/week, flexible) to build and maintain the software behind Formwell's products and internal tools. You'll write clean, maintainable code, ship features end-to-end, and help shape our technical direction.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain features across our web applications and internal tools
- Write, test, and deploy clean, well-documented code
- Debug issues and improve performance of existing systems
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
- Collaborate on technical decisions and product direction
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of software development experience (professional or substantial personal projects)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React, Vue, or similar); backend experience (Node, Python, etc.) a plus
- Comfort working independently — you can take a loosely defined problem and ship a solution
- Strong communication; you work well async and keep others in the loop
- Bonus: experience with databases, cloud hosting (AWS/Vercel/etc.), or automation
